Gear, literature, and the great outdoors are my passions, and I’ve been lucky enough to turn those interests into a pretty solid way to pay the bills. For the better part of a decade, I’ve been copywriting, editing, and managing editorial teams in the outdoor and retail space.

I cut my teeth learning from the best in the business at Huckberry before going on to be BRUNT Workwear’s first head of copy, and then becoming the Communications Director at SITKA Gear. These gigs have allowed me to work on projects with Coors Banquet, RRL, YETI, and many more. They’ve also allowed me to weave storytelling into brand identity and do more than just string together some headlines.

Anytime I’m traveling or exploring, I’m usually fumbling around with a roll of 35mm—there’s something about a great landscape that I just need to capture, I can’t really explain it. But I’ve compiled some of my favorite shots over the years and included them here.
